Cecile Bouvier (nee Burnouf) is a lifelong Metis resident of Beauval. She married Alfred Bouvier and together raised their children at their ranch just south of Beauval Forks. She has been sewing and creating leather handicraft most of her life.
She can create a handmade moosehide leather jacket custom designed with your own floral arrangements that are made from thousands of colourful glass beads. She can add elegent fringes and coloured leather inset designs as well. She can also create many varieties of hand sewn leather slippers, mocassins and mukluks either in plain leather or with intricate beaded designs.
Cecile enjoys her long days at her Trading Post business at the Junction of Highways 155 and 165. She runs a small handicraft shop that sells a variety of leather and wool crafts and she also sells Aboriginal Artwork including Moose and caribou hair tuftings. If you get hungry she can whip you a fast meal in her commercial kitchen or at least serve you up with a cup o hot coffe or tea.
